Dried Tulsi / Holy Basil

1 oz Dried Holy Basil (aka Tulsi) Ocimum sanctum, 'Kapoor' cultivar Grown, hand harvested, and air dried in Torrington CT 2020 Holy Basil is a wonderful aromatic tea, considered to be a sacred plant in Ayurvedic medicine. It's strength is in its adaptogenic, or stress relieving, properties. I sometimes say that even if you can't pinpoint where or how your body needs help, that Tulsi can figure it out for you. If you've got muscle aches, tulsi can help. A headache? Tulsi can help. Etc... Holy Basil is also known to be antimicrobial, nervine, tonic, expectorant, neuroprotective, radioprotective, antioxidant, immunomodulating, and analgesic. Pretty good for one little plant, huh? Plus, it smells great and the bees love it.
